WHOOPIE PIES!!!!!!!

Monday - Tuesday I made whoopie pies. I apologize how late this is coming up but I went on a field trip with the senior center and today I called bingo for them. For the whoopie pies buy 1 chocoloate cake mix, 2 cups whipped topping, 2 eggs, 1 can vanilla frosting but I made home made, and powdered sugar. You have to mix the DRY cake mix with all of the whipped topping and eggs then chill in refrigerator for 2 hours. I only let mine cool for 1 hour so it was not cool enough. You need the oven at 350 degrees. roll into balls and roll in  the powdered sugar and I did not do this. Lets just say I will redo this recipe. They where flat! Space them evenly on a cookie sheet. Bake for 7-10 minutes. Then cool, spread frosting between 2 cookies and serve. For the home made frosting you need 2 melted butter and mix that with powdered sugar  untill it is the way you want it. They are so good.

Thank you Stephannie Ashcraft for 101 things to do with a cake mix. 2 down 99 more to go. If you read this please leave a comment. Thank you every one that reads my blog.

Happy Baking,

Ava
