A Note from our Chef about Italy...
When I attended Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT for
my undergraduate degree I had a wonderful professor of
music named Roger Ermili. He told us all that everyone
should visit Italy at least once in their life. He said it was
Europe’s Museum. I took that advice to heart. I’ve been a chef for many years now and I eventually found my way to Italy - Positano, Italy on the Amalfi coast - to be exact.
I went there to learn about the local cuisine, meet and be taught by Italian chefs and to discover the fundamentals of Italian cooking using only local and in-season ingredients.
I’m in love with the country, the food, the wine, the traditions and the way of life. I want to introduce my clients, both old and new, to La Dolce Vita. It is found in Italy. Join me on a 7 day culinary excursion that will change you forever. It may be your first trip to Italy but it certainly will not be your last!

Situated in a panoramic position in what is considered the pearl of the coast, our villa is a property which transmits the charm of the past. Dating back to 1600, the interiors of the villa were restored less than 10 years ago. The interiors are furnished with wooden furniture that blends in well with the bright colors that convey freshness to the house. The property allows its guests to enjoy the beauty of the coast without sacrificing comfort. The villa is characterized by the breathtaking views that can be admired from its terrace. Its central position on one hand allows guests to have a 180° view over all of Positano and the other to reach the “Grande Spiaggia” and the main square (piazza principale) in only a few minutes. Another important element of comfort for guests is the presence of private parking, a very rare feature in Positano. Parking is ample for 2 rental cars.

Learn to make pizza with a chef from Naples -the birthplace of pizza- at his home perched high above the Bay of Naples. Eat, drink and be merry with others who share your passion for travel, great food and wine and interesting conversation. Come with your friends or come alone and make new ones. Amazement awaits.
