A Note from Our Chef
I created A Perfect Thyme Gourmet Caterers in September 2002 from desire and determination to be a small business owner. It has been an incredible experience and over these years, I have met so many fabulous people who love to entertain just as much as I do. I developed contacts who became clients, clients who became friends and friends who feel like family.
In 2010, after a lifetime of longing, I visited the Amalfi Coast of Italy for the first time and have been back for 22 trips since. Contacts there became friends and friends became like family. It was from that very first random September trip to Positano that the idea of A Perfect Thyme in Italy was conceived.
As an avid and adult-lifelong boater, it was not a far stretch for me to envision my passion for cooking and entertaining intertwining with my love of being on the water or my absolute desire to spend my time seeing the land from the sea. And with that, in the summer of 2025, the idea of A Perfect Thyme at Sea was born.

Come along with me and our USCG Master Licensed Captain, Ron Diuto, aboard the APT at SEA, a 36' Carver motor yacht, for one of our custom-made culinary cruises along the historic and scenic CT River. The guest list is always small so spaces are limited and will fill up quickly.
